Ana Hotels is the largest locally owned hospitality business in Romania. It owns seven luxury hotels, including Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest, Crowne Plaza Bucharest, Sport Hotel & Spa Poiana Brasov and Europa Hotel Eforie Nord. The brands' Spa Collection boasts the impressive Ana Aslan Health Spa in Eforie Nord, the Sport Spa in Poiana Brasov and the Crowne Fitness Centre & Spa, currently under renovation, at the Crowne Plaza Bucharest.

 

We are looking for an experienced, values-driven and ambitious Regional Spa Manager for the three locations that will revamp our practices, define a uniform identity across them, own the P&L of the locations as well as the development of the staff with the purpose of delivering an outstanding guest experience.

 

 

REGIONAL SPA MANAGER

 

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

 

 1.  Defines key brand characteristics and positioning of each property to create a uniform identity and offer the same level of services across the Spa Collection;

 

2. Initiates, implements and monitors processes and procedures to ensure the effective operation, development and profitability of Ana Hotels Spa Collection;

 

3. Defines and implements sales and marketing strategies with the purpose of delivering excellence for clients, increasing the customer base and sales;

 

4. Owns the P&L for the locations and therefore prepares budgets, forecasts and financial analyses on performance;

 

5. Interacts with clients often to understand their needs and tailor offers according to these;

 

6. Manages the staff at each property, offers feedback and has the possibility to hire and let go of employees based on their performance;

 

7. Identifies training and development needs for the staff to add value to the business and to develop team members’ potential;

 

8. Effectively manages staffing costs by preparing efficient work schedules in line with legal requirements;

 

9. Conducts daily walk through of the Spa operations to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and conservation of facility and maintenance of equipment;

 

10. Responsible for the safety of all guests and team members and ensures all security incidents are logged and rectified to prevent accidents;

 

11. Represents Ana Hotels Spa Collection in relations with suppliers, customers, inspection  bodies, Public Health Department and other collaborating institutions.

 

12.  For the launch of the Crowne Plaza Fitness & Spa center (due to open in April 2016):

 

o    Reviews and updates the existing strategy and positioning of the Club

 

o    Defines operating procedures and processes

 

o    Hires and onboards Club team, including a Club manager

 

o    Defines marketing strategy for 2016

 

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

1. Honest and self-motivated;

 

2. Strong leadership skills in motivating people, defining strategies and executing these together with the team;

 

3. Excellent skills in planning, organizing, leading and controlling the entire activity;

 

4. Demonstrates strong service attributes in accordance with hospitality and SPA industry expectations and Ana Hotels’ standards including a high degree of anticipating, understanding and addressing the needs of the guests;

 

5. Demonstrates working knowledge of exceptional and professional service standards;

 

6. Excellent selling, listening, & communication skills;

 

7. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and resolve conflicts;

 

8. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods;

 

9. Knowledge of at least two foreign languages ​​International: English / French / German – advanced level;

 

10. Willing to work flexible hours, as needs across locations arise.

 

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

 

1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a SPA department head in a resort/hospitality /or destination Spa or Wellness business;

 

2. Detailed experience / knowledge of the Spa/Hospitality market;

 

3. Experience of managing larger team of people (10+)
